Todo tiene su momento: las sandalias y el verano, las bufandas y el invierno, la primavera y las faldas ligeras; la primavera y los collares; la primavera y los zapatos sin medias; la primavera y la felicidad.

Aunque la primavera normalina ha estado jugando al escondite con nosotros, poco a poco se empieza a sentir el cambio. Esta mañana, me levantó el sol que entraba por mi ventana. ¡Tanta luz!

Ya el cielo gris está pasando de moda; y me alegro. Hasta la gente en Normal se siente diferente: salen a la calle a caminar con sus perros, salen a sus patios a tomar bebidas con hielo, usan ‘chancletas’…. Como si todo volviera a la vida nuevamente… Como si todo volviera a la Normalidad.

Alexandra: Comfortable and a good cause

I am going to Europe this summer. All summer. Freakin' sweet, right? Given that I will be on the move for 11 weeks, it would be considered wise to pack light, pack comfortable, and pack items can be mixed and matched.

My colleague, Isabel, swears by TOMs for travel, or life in general. The girl has like 37 pairs, give or take 33. At her behest, I ordered a basic pair of navy canvas TOMs last week that could be worn with a variety of outfits. As I was leaving my apartment this morning in high heels, I opened my front door to discover that my TOMs had arrived. Oh happy day!
