Caroline: Miércoles, tan colorido.

Los miércoles son mi día libre. Me levanto tarde, estoy en Facebook una cantidad de tiempo considerable, como leftovers, veo TV hasta que me duelen los ojos… ok, no…I wish!...

Algunos miércoles sí son así, pero Grad School me está matando. Tengo tantas cosas que hacer, tantos artículos que leer, tantos papers que entregar… es imposible que me quede en la casa sabiendo que tengo TANTO que hacer.

Aunque sería mucho más fácil, ponerme una t-shirt para venir a estudiar a la universidad, eso no ayudaría a mejorar mi actitud 101% desmotivada. Entonces, para acompañar la tonelada de artículos sobre el feminismo que tengo que leer, me vestí con algo de rosa, porque no me gusta la contradicción.

Finally! Sunshine! Huzzah! The weather in Normal today is absolutely beautiful. What is it about sunshine after months of grey weather that can put you in a good mood even if you're bogged down with work? Who knows!

It was time to put on my lovely spring outfit that I longed to wear on Monday. Today whenever I look down at my skirt I see pretty little colorful birds which help me to pretend that I'm on a beach somewhere drinking mojitos instead of sitting in a dim cubicle office writing my French existentialism term paper. A girl can dream...
